Political office
Member of the General Council of Sion from 1975 to 1979 and rapporteur of its Public Works and Town Planning Committee. Member of the Municipal Council of Sion from 1980 to 1988, chairing the planning committee and responsible for the new local development plan and building regulations.

President of Sedunum Nostrum from 1989 to 1998. Founding president of the Association of Friends of Valère from 1998 to 2000. President of the Foundation Board of the Cantonal Conservatory of Music from 1998 to 2005.
